Ms. Kerger heard presentations Monday from The Hormel Institute’s Associate Director Dr. Ann M. Bode as well as Dr. Ted Hinchcliffe, who leads the Cellular Dynamics research section. She also toured The Hormel Institute’s current cancer research facilities along with the east expansion underway that will add another 20 state-of-the-art laboratories for cancer research.

KSMQ Public Television, based in Austin, was hosting Ms. Kerger on Monday for the station’s ceremony to launch its new high-definition broadcast signal.
