PTTP - the Hormel Institute

Austin Bruins cancer research fundraiser for Paint the Town Pink

Make sure to get tickets to the Austin Bruin’s Paint the Rink Pink game early because this hockey game has sold out nearly every year. Paint the Rink Pink is Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 7:05pm. The Paint the Rink Pink game will benefit Paint the Town Pink and The Hormel Institute’s cancer research.

Meet Maegan Siebe, the 2019 PTTP Ambassador and find out who will receive the Pink Heart awards – every year it is a surprise, along with finding out the final figure raised by Plunging for Pink and Hoot ‘N Ole’s teams.

Early sale tickets are $11 for adults and $8 for students or seniors and are available at one of these locations: Hy-Vee Austin, Holiday Inn & Austin Conference Center, Games People Play, Jim’s Marketplace Foods. Game night ticket prices are $15 for adults and $12 for students or seniors, available at the Bruins Box Office.

Paint the Rink Pink is the event that started it all! The first Paint the Rink Pink event inspired the creation of Paint the Town Pink the following year and the incredible annual campaign, now in its ninth year. The Paint the Rink Pink hockey game has raised over $245,000 since 2011.

This year, the Austin Bruins will be playing the MN Magicians out of Richfield, MN and the Bruins’ jerseys will feature names of cancer survivors, those currently fighting, and those who have lost their battle.

Stick around after the game for an auction including game-worn jerseys and skits created by Bruins players. T-shirts with the same pattern of names as the Bruins jerseys are available at Games People Play and t-shirt sales will also benefit The Hormel Institute’s cancer research.
