We have reserved hotel room blocks at discounted rates at several hotels in Austin. You must call to make your reservation and mention that you are booking for The Hormel Institute Symposium in order to get the discounted rate. Rooms are available on a first come, first served basis.

Parking at The Hormel Institute
The Hormel Institute looks forward to hosting you at our upcoming conference.
Parking Information
All parking at The Hormel Institute is free of charge and within a short walking distance of the Institute. The visitor parking lot offers 12 spaces located directly outside of the main entrance of The Hormel Institute (located at 801 16th Ave NE Austin, MN 55912).
Additional visitor parking can be found to the east of the building located on the south corner of 8th St NE and 16th Ave NE. Please note that you will need to walk to the main entrance of The Hormel Institute if you use this lot.
Street parking is also allowed. The highlighted areas on the map below show available parking.
Accessible Parking
There are two parking spaces offered for accessible parking in the visitor parking lot outside of the main entrance.
Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations
The Hormel Institute offers EV charging with four available J1772 plugs in the main parking area. Reserve an EV charging station via the symposium registration form or by calling 507-433-8804.
