The Hormel Institute Symposium is free to attend but registration is required. The deadline to register is July 17.
This is an in-person event and will be held on-site at The Hormel Institute, University of Minnesota, 801 16th Avenue NE, Austin, MN 55912.
The theme of this year’s symposium is “Building Partnerships”. The goal is to provide a forum to highlight existing and future partnerships between The Hormel Institute, our collaborators at the University of Minnesota, and the Mayo Clinic. Over the course of two days, researchers will showcase their research from a range of disciplines within the biomedical sciences.
The symposium also features invited talks by our partners to illustrate how cross-collaboration across institutions via granting mechanisms and leveraging resources can lead to the greater advancement of research, clinical applications, education, and outreach.
We are currently accepting poster abstract submissions from graduate students, research technicians, and postdoctoral associates from all campuses of the University of Minnesota and the Mayo Clinic. Abstract winners will be invited to give a 15-minute talk during the symposium. Learn more on our Call for Abstracts page.
