Members of the public are invited to come out to The Hormel Institute on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 in the afternoon to purchase a new CD created by a local group of well-known singers to benefit the Institute's world-renowned cancer research.
Copies of the new CD "A Journey Together" by the group Spiritually Motivated will be available for sale from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday in The Hormel Institute's main lobby. CDs will be sold for $15 each, with proceeds going to support cutting-edge cancer research at The Hormel Institute.
"This album is the result of their efforts and compassion for such an important cause," King said. "We're just proud of The Hormel Institute and all that they stand for."
Copies of the CD also will be sold at Berg's Nursery; Caribou Coffee; Coffee House on Main; Jim's Market Place Foods; Philomathian; St. Augustine Church; Sterling Main Street; and The Hardy Geranium.
